Day, during which employees and their families took part in art workshops and
cultural experiences in a welcoming environment integrated with nature.

ensuring accessibility and safety for all visitors.

hub of interaction and culture in Taquaral.

Campinas (SP), october 2025 – LiuGong announces a new leadership structure aimed at enhancing management efficiency across its operations in Brazil. A competition that highlighted the technical level of the Latin American
representatives and reaffirmed LiuGong’s investment in training and valuing
professionals.

LiuGong Latin America secured third place at the 8th Global Technical Skills
Competition, held in October 2025 in Ayutthaya, Thailand. The Latin American
team was composed of Marcelo de Andrade, Service Specialist at LiuGong
Brazil; Rodrigo Barbosa de Souza, Service Field Technician at the distributor
Sarandi Tratores; and Emanuel Romero Rosario, Service Field Technician at
Caon Group (Argentina).
The competition brought together teams from different regions of the world,
including Russia, Poland, Indonesia, India, China, Thailand, Egypt, Saudi
Arabia, and South Africa. The Latin American team secured a place on the
podium, finishing behind the teams from Russia (1st place) and Poland (2nd
place).
Global Challenges and Technical Learning
The journey of the Latin American representatives began in the regional
qualifiers organized by LiuGong Latin America, which brought together
technicians from distributors and factory employees. The theoretical and
practical tests evaluated everything from mastery of the machines’ electrical
and hydraulic systems to the disassembly and assembly of subassemblies, predelivery inspections (PDI), failure diagnostics, and equipment technical
handover procedures.
During the global championship in Thailand, the competitors faced challenges
with a maximum time limit of 60 minutes, requiring precision and agility. The
tasks included disassembly of hydraulic controls, adjustment of diesel injection
systems, and electrical fault diagnostics on excavators, wheel loaders, and
aerial work platforms.
“The challenges were complex and the time limits extremely short. Each test
required quick thinking, precise measurements, and teamwork. Even without
taking first place, we are proud to have represented Latin America among the
top three teams in the world,” said Marcelo de Andrade, electric machinery
specialist at LiuGong Latin America.

The event was held at LiuGong’s branch in Ayutthaya, about 70 km from
Bangkok, and featured a full structure provided by LiuGong Global, including
transportation, meals, and technical support for the participants. After the
competition, the contestants took part in the LiuGong Thailand Customer Day,
which showcased machine launches, global performance indicators, and
cultural attractions.
For Hebert Francisco, Vice President of LiuGong Brazil, the result in Thailand
reflects the company’s ongoing investment in the technical training of its
network professionals. “We believe that knowledge is the main tool for providing
excellent support to our customers. The Technical Skills Championship is a

Campinas (SP), November 2025 – LiuGong successfully concluded its first participation at Exposibram, one of the largest mining events in Latin America, held from October 28 to 30 at the Salvador Convention Center (BA). The international business fair featured more than 400 booths, 2,600 congress participants, and 3,500 hours of technical and scientific activities, attracting professionals, business leaders, and 4,000 students and young people who took part in training activities and guided tours.

At booth AE12b, LiuGong presented the launch of the 870HE electric wheel loader, a highlight among the equipment showcased at the event. The model, equipped with a 423 kWh LFP battery, an operating weight of 24.2 tons, and a 4.7 m³ bucket, drew the attention of mining companies, service providers, and visitors interested in zero-emission solutions and high energy efficiency.

Over the three-day event, held from September 23 to 25 at the Anhembi District in São Paulo, the global manufacturer showcased five new product launches, covering everything from soil compaction to asphalt application and maintenance, highlighting efficiency, productivity, and technology.

The manufacturer’s first participation in the largest mining event in Latin America reinforces its expansion strategy and commitment to electrification.

Campinas (SP), October 2025 – LiuGong, a global manufacturer of heavy equipment, will mark its first participation in Exposibram, one of the most important mining events in Latin America, to be held from October 27 to 30 at the Salvador Convention Center (BA). At booth AE12b, the company will showcase the launch of the 870HE electric wheel loader, reinforcing its expansion strategy in Brazil and its commitment to the energy transition.

With an operating weight of 24.2 tons, a 4.7 m³ bucket, and a 423 kWh LFP battery, the 870HE electric wheel loader combines power, efficiency, and low operating costs. The model is equipped with a 160 kW electric motor, electronically controlled planetary transmission, and an intelligent liquid cooling system that ensures stable performance even under extreme mining conditions. In addition, its oil-immersed hydraulic brake system and flow-amplified steering enhance precision and operator comfort.

According to Mateus Rodrigues, Senior Mining Manager at LiuGong, the company’s debut at Exposibram strengthens its growth in the mining segment and marks the beginning of a new phase focused on electrification. The executive highlights that the 870HE combines the brand’s traditional robustness with the technological innovation needed to reduce environmental impact and meet the growing demand for energy efficiency. He explains that, thanks to its fully electric powertrain delivering high torque, the equipment achieves greater productivity than others in its class, with zero emissions and a significant reduction in total operating costs.

Among the equipment’s key features are fast charging, which reaches a full charge in up to 90 minutes with a 300 kW charger, and the iLink telemetry system, which enables real-time monitoring of performance parameters, battery status, and preventive maintenance. These technologies ensure greater predictability, safety, and uptime, essential elements for productivity in the mining sector.

According to Hebert Francisco, Vice President of LiuGong Latin America, participating in Exposibram for the first time is a milestone in the company’s journey in Brazil. “Exposibram has established itself as a mining ecosystem, and our debut at this event consolidates LiuGong’s growth in the sector. The 870HE reflects our vision for the future: a high-performance, fully emission-free machine. It is a decisive step toward mining that is more aligned with environmental and operational demands,” says the executive.

Hebert adds that in 2025, LiuGong expanded its presence in the mining segment with new equipment launches, including the 886T wheel loader and the DW105A off-highway truck, as well as the opening of a dedicated office for the sector in Belo Horizonte (MG).

During the event, the manufacturer will also showcase its integrated after-sales solutions, such as LiuGong Care and the iLink connectivity system, which provides advanced technical support and real-time remote monitoring, as well as the LiuGong Consortium. The technical and commercial teams will be available to present the complete equipment portfolio and discuss the prospects of electrification in Brazilian mining.

of Infra Business Expo, which will take place from August 12 to 14 at Expominas in Belo

National stage highlights technical knowledge and prepares representatives for international competition

On August 21 and 22, 2025, LiuGong will hold another edition of its Technical Skills Championship at its factory in Mogi Guaçu (SP), an event that is already part of the company’s official calendar. The goal is to select the professionals who will make up LiuGong’s team for the global competition, which will take place in China.

Following the same format as in previous years, the competition will feature technicians nominated by the brand’s distributors, invited to demonstrate their skills in theoretical and practical tests that replicate everyday maintenance and equipment operation situations.

Over the two days, participants will undergo theoretical tests on LiuGong equipment technical content and practical challenges involving troubleshooting, pre-delivery inspection (PDI), technical handover, and the use of simulators, engines, and transmissions. The skills assessed cover mechanics, electrical, hydraulics, technical handover, engines, and transmissions, through activities carried out directly on the equipment.

Each distributor nominated two technicians for the competition, and at the end of the championship, the representatives of LGLA for the global tournament will be selected: one distributor technician, one LiuGong internal employee, and one technician from other Latin American countries. In 2024, the LGLA team achieved 3rd place in the global stage, a result that highlights the technical progress and high level of preparation of participants from the region.

For LiuGong’s Service Supervisor, João Campaldi, the initiative is essential to strengthen the network and maintain a high standard of technical knowledge. “We want to foster true technical alignment among all our distributors, encouraging participation in the annual competition and in all technical training programs offered by us,” he states.
