LiuGong Latin America promotes Equipment Productivity Training

LiuGong Latin America promoted a comprehensive training program focused on improving the productivity of equipment. Held at the company’s factory in Mogi Guaçu, São Paulo, from October 16th to 20th, the training was led by the specialized construction equipment products division. The event was attended by technical and sales teams from distributors across Latin America.

During this training, participants engaged in a combination of theoretical discussions and practical exercises in the field, exploring the analysis, calculation, interpretation and practical application of productivity concepts for various types of equipment, including Hydraulic Excavators and Wheel Loaders, among others.

Arthur Gama shines in the Tarumã Stage of the Nascar Brasil Sprint Race, achieving victory in the PRO category

Arthur Gama, the driver sponsored by LiuGong, left his mark in the exciting Tarumã Stage, Rio Grande do Sul, of the Nascar Brasil Sprint Race, by achieving an impressive victory in the PRO category. In a remarkable display, Arthur won race 1 from start to finish, starting in pole position and dominating throughout the race. “There’s nothing better to win at home. It’s even more special to win close to your family and friends”, said the young driver.

In race 2, Gama made another excellent performance on the circuit and completed the race in second place, behind Júlio Campos. With a good performance throughout the race weekend, Arthur Gama reached fifth place in the general classification of the season.

The next stage of the Nascar Brasil Sprint Race will be at Interlagos Circuit, in the city of São Paulo, from December 8th to 10th. The expectation is that Arthur will continue to show his talent on the track and achieve more success for his team.

LiuGong holds event to present innovative solutions for the mining sector in Brazil

LiuGong Latin America, in partnership with its distributor Serpema, promoted an event on June 14 in the city of Poconé, Mato Grosso state present its solutions for the mining segment in Brazil.

Highlighting the DW90A Mining Truck, the 975EHD Hydraulic Excavator and the 870H MAX Wheel Loader, the event was attended by more than 130 participants, including customers from all over Brazil and strategic partners.

The choice of the city of Poconé to host the event is due to its consolidated position as a reference in the mining sector in the country.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to get to know and interact with the equipment, clarifying doubts with specialists and knowing in a comprehensive way the features and benefits offered. Customers were very happy with LiuGong’s mining solutions presented during the demonstration, understanding company´s mission to be ever closer to the Brazilian mining market, contributing with its sustainable solutions for a high quality future.

This initiative also strengthens the partnership with Serpema distributor and the customer Ourinhos Mineração, where the event was held, demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing Brazilian customers with access to the most advanced technologies in the sector. The heavy machinery manufacturer joined forces with the dealer Morgillo Selva SAC, a national reference in the construction industry, having more than 10 years of a successful history. LiuGong’s products will be distributed all over the country, and the partner aims to focus on the construction market. 

Morgillo Selva SAC is currently the sales leader in San Martín region. It looks forward to delivering LiuGong’s products, since they are quality equipment globally recognized for its efficiency. The dealer approached LiuGong, which decided that working with a nationally recognized brand would boost the expansion plan of the Chinese company in Latin America. 

This partnership will allow Morgillo Selva SAC to deal complete equipment that meet the needs of Peruvian customers, increasingly more demanding in a competitive market. MR. LINJUN WANG COMPLETES 100 DAYS AS THE PRESIDENT OF LIUGONG LATIN AMERICA

After a successful experience as the General Director of LiuGong Europe, Mr. Linjun Wang takes charge as the President of the Latin American branch, his objective being to implement a successful strategy. 

In early 2021, LiuGong Latin America received a massive reinforcement ahead of its regional operations. The Chinese multinational announced a new President, who will command LiuGong in South American countries. Mr. Linjun Wang comes from a successful experience at the European branch and aims to perform successful strategies in the new continent. He is an experienced manager who has built several cases of success with the brand. Therefore, the LiuGong LA team is motivated about the new President, which has already started helping the company to grow. 

In recent years, LiuGong has developed a growth strategy in Latin America, by closing strategic partnerships with recognized dealers in South America. This movement has positively contributed to an increase in sales in the region. Chinese giant of the heavy machinery sector announces partnership with Colombian dealer 

LiuGong, one of the greatest heavy machinery manufacturers in the world, has recently closed a partnership with Maquitecno, a Colombian machinery dealer that has more than 19 years of experience and 4,500 customers. The new dealer is between the 5 biggest dealers in the heavy equipment market in Colombia. It aims to represent the LiuGong flag in the regional market and to contribute to the growth of the brand. 

This partnership was established because LiuGong aims to expand its dealer network in Latin America, as well as to increase sales, hence the importance of serving all the Colombian market. Maquitecno will officially represent the brand before the local customers. It will be responsible for selling machines and spare parts and offering technical support to all customers that buy them. 

LiuGong has chosen Maquitecno as its partner because this is a recognized company that brings a well-trained, skillful team, and has strategically distributed units across cities such as Medellín, Bogotá, Cali, Bucaramanga and Barranquilla. The Chinese multinational moves ahead of big players in the market and establishes itself as one of the most renowned brands in the Yellow Table ranking of construction industry 

Among heavy machinery manufacturers, LiuGong is the one that has grown the most in the last decade. With operations across 5 continents, the multinational celebrates now the 15th position in the Yellow Table’s annual, ranking by KHL magazine.. In the last year, the Chinese brand ranked 19th on the list and now, in the 2020 survey, it is already approaching the TOP 10, getting ahead of big players in the industry, such as CNH, Hyundai and Kobelco. This privileged result represents a major win for LiuGong, which, in recent years, has invested in an ambitious market expansion plan. 

According to the Yellow Table, Chinese companies were the only ones in the construction industry to experience a significant growth in 2020. Off-Highway Research states that China achieved a 14% increase in sales of heavy machinery equipment, while all other major markets suffered a decrease. This allowed LiuGong to establish itself among the fastest-growing companies in recent years and to occupy a privileged position in the rankings.  

In 2021, LiuGong’s global sales were $3.338 billion, according to the survey. This number represents a considerable change, compared to previous years, such as 2019, when the Chinese giant sold $2.765 billion. The multinational is referred to, in the annual ranking of Yellow Table, as one of the companies that has grown the most in the last 5 years, since the brand jumped from 31st position in 2017 to 15th in 2021. LiuGong expects those figures to continue to evolve in the coming years, as the brand’s new releases reach successful sales. 

In Latin America, LiuGong has also experienced massive growth. The brand has established partnerships with renowned dealers in South American countries, which accounts for the exponential increase in the multinational’s sales. LiuGong recently launched a new Wheel Loader model, the 848H Sugarcane.
