The competition took place in the city of Liuzhou in China and lasted 2 days. 1 day for evaluation of the assembly and disassembly of the Cummins engine and ZF Transmission and another day for resolving equipment failures

LiuGong Global held at its headquarters in Liuzhou, China, on the 27^th and 28^th of November the “LiuGong 2023 Global Dealer Conference” which had almost a thousand participants, including seven hundred distributor representatives from more than one hundred countries around the world, which had as its main objectives, in addition to strengthening internal ties, global partnerships and instigating integration between representatives, it also took place through the celebration of 65 years, where discussions took place about the past and the entire trajectory and looking at the future with a strategic vision, powerful and optimistic.

Simultaneously with lectures, launches, presentations, dinners and meetings that were taking place during the event, two teams from LiuGong Latin America participated in a competition called: “Technical Skills Championship”. The dispute took place in the city of Liuzhou in China and lasted 2 days.

The first day (11/22/2023) consisted of assembly and disassembly tests for the Cummins engine and ZF Transmission. The second day (11/23/2023) was about resolving faults in LiuGong equipment (motor grader, rigid truck, loader, excavator, crawler tractor, mini loader and mini excavator, backhoe), in addition to equipment inspection and delivery product technique.

Team A from LiuGong Latin America that took 1st place was composed by Diego Heitor (LGLA), João Vitor (distributor Sarandi Tratores, from Brazil) and Juanito Alvarez Artega (distributor Viaggio, from Bolivia).

Team B from LiuGong Latin America, which came in 2^nd place, was composed by Guilherme Augusto Magalhães Carvalho (Client Portex, from Brazil), Wellington Braga (LGLA) and Johnny Jack (Client Ferlig, from Brazil).

The championship featured teams from different countries around the world such as Indonesia, Russia, South Africa, Thailand and Brazil. 

Recognition of this magnitude for our team is extremely important as it proves the operational excellence of our operators and generates an excellent reputation gain with the headquarters and other branches.

Driver Arthur Gama, born in Porto Alegre state in Brazil and sponsored by LiuGong, ended his first year in the PRO category of the NASCAR Brasil Sprint Race with impressive results, consolidating himself as one of the most promising talents in Brazilian motorsport.

In the last stage of the championship, held in Interlagos on December 8^th and 9^th, Arthur Gama demonstrated his skill in the two races held on 9^th and achieved second position in the PRO category and third position overall in both events. These results guaranteed Arthur a significant recovery in the championship, reaching third place in the PRO category at the end of the season.

It is worth mentioning that this was Arthur’s first year in the PRO category, where his notable debut included a victory in the category’s first race in Goiânia/GO, in March this year. Furthermore, Arthur won the Tarumã/RS stage and was on the podium in the Interlagos/SP, Cascavel/PR, and again in Tarumã/RS stages.

The ceremony was attended by Luo Guobing, Vice President of LiuGong’ s Global Division, as well as Linjun Wang, President of LiuGong Latin America, Xiang Li, Senior Director Overseas at LiuGong, Li Kailiang, Senior Director of LiuGong and Hebert Francisco, Director of Operations and Strategy at LiuGong in Brazil. Brazilian distributors and strategic customers from different regions of the country also participated in the event, highlighting the importance of this partnership. It is extremely important to highlight two great achievements achieved by Latin America during the event. Introducing the first of them, Priori, one of the most regionally relevant Brazilian distributors won one of the main awards for distributors of the night, Best Regional Distributor. The award was received with great prestige and celebration by Neuri Bertinatto, President of Priori, who attended and was able to experience the entire event. 

Secondly, but not least, the final stage of the global technical skills championship took place, where first and second place were taken by teams from LiuGong Latin America. Representatives from several LiuGong subsidiaries around the world participated in this championship.

Arthur Gama, the driver sponsored by LiuGong, left his mark in the exciting Tarumã Stage, Rio Grande do Sul, of the Nascar Brasil Sprint Race, by achieving an impressive victory in the PRO category. In a remarkable display, Arthur won race 1 from start to finish, starting in pole position and dominating throughout the race. “There’s nothing better to win at home. It’s even more special to win close to your family and friends”, said the young driver.

In race 2, Gama made another excellent performance on the circuit and completed the race in second place, behind Júlio Campos. With a good performance throughout the race weekend, Arthur Gama reached fifth place in the general classification of the season.

The next stage of the Nascar Brasil Sprint Race will be at Interlagos Circuit, in the city of São Paulo, from December 8^th to 10^th. The expectation is that Arthur will continue to show his talent on the track and achieve more success for his team.

LiuGong Latin America is pleased to share the success of its selection for the 6^th LiuGong Global Technical Skills Championship, held with great success on the 5^th and 6^th of September, at its factory facilities in Mogi-Guaçu, São Paulo. This annual event was a special occasion that brought together technicians, operators and experts from LiuGong Latin America distributors and customers. The main objective of this championship is to identify and recognize the most talented and skilled professionals in Latin America, who will have the honor of representing LiuGong Latin America in the Global Championship, scheduled to take place at LiuGong’ s headquarters in China, in November this year.

The Latin American selection was attended by experts from LiuGong’ s distributors and customers in the region. They faced a series of challenges, including theoretical and practical tests, as well as equipment operation demonstrations, highlighting their talents, skills and knowledge in various LiuGong product lines. This event reinforces LiuGong’ s unwavering commitment to recognizing and valuing professionals who play a key role in providing exceptional services to our clients. 

The winners of this phase will have the opportunity to represent LiuGong Latin America on the global stage, where they will compete with the best technicians in the world. In the distributors category, we will have João Vitor, from Sarandi Tratores, in Brazil, as well as Juanito Alvarez, from Viaggio, in Bolivia. While in the customer category, the winners were Guilherme Augusto, from the company Portex, and Johnny Jack, from company Ferlig, both from Brazil.

LiuGong Latin America, in partnership with its distributor Serpema, promoted an event on June 14 in the city of Poconé, Mato Grosso state present its solutions for the mining segment in Brazil.

Highlighting the DW90A Mining Truck, the 975EHD Hydraulic Excavator and the 870H MAX Wheel Loader, the event was attended by more than 130 participants, including customers from all over Brazil and strategic partners.

The choice of the city of Poconé to host the event is due to its consolidated position as a reference in the mining sector in the country.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to get to know and interact with the equipment, clarifying doubts with specialists and knowing in a comprehensive way the features and benefits offered. Customers were very happy with LiuGong’s mining solutions presented during the demonstration, understanding company´s mission to be ever closer to the Brazilian mining market, contributing with its sustainable solutions for a high quality future.

This initiative also strengthens the partnership with Serpema distributor and the customer Ourinhos Mineração, where the event was held, demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing Brazilian customers with access to the most advanced technologies in the sector. During the last weeks, the presented products were demonstrated and tested by the customer, who shared positive feedback about the equipment´s performance.
