LiuGong announces the resumption of its sponsorship of driver Arthur Gama for the
2026 NASCAR Brasil season, reinforcing a partnership built over recent years and
grounded in trust, development, and shared values between the brand and the sport.
Born in Porto Alegre (RS), the twenty-year-old driver has built his motorsports career
since karting, where he began competing at the age of six.

The partnership with the driver began in 2023, when Arthur was competing in NASCAR
Brasil itself. In 2024, the partnership continued during his participation in the Stock
Series, a category in which he achieved one of the most important titles of his career.
In 2026, LiuGong resumes the sponsorship, marking a new chapter in their shared
journey.

“I am very happy to resume this partnership. LiuGong played a fundamental role
during important moments in my career, and having this support again, now in a new
stage, is very special. Reaching this point is also largely due to the support I received
throughout this journey,” says Arthur Gama.

For the 2026 season, the sponsorship takes on an even broader dimension by involving
LiuGong’s entire dealer network in Brazil. The initiative reinforces the concept of a
connected network operation and expands the brand’s presence throughout the
championship stages, with the active participation of dealers across different regions
of the country.

At each stage, the project foresees integration with local dealers, fostering closer
relationships with customers and partners while also providing motorsport-related
experiences. The initiative further strengthens relationships with regional markets and
expands the brand’s visibility both on and off the track.
“We believe this initiative strongly represents the way we operate in Brazil: in an
integrated manner, with the active participation of our dealer network. Motorsport
reflects values that are part of our daily operations, such as performance, durability,
technology, and teamwork. By involving our dealers in this project, we strengthen this
connection and also bring this experience closer to our customers,” says Denis de

LiuGong launches the LTC800T5 and LTC900T5 truck cranes in Brazil forhigh-complexity projects

80- and 90-ton models strengthen the manufacturer’s presence in infrastructure, industrial construction, and equipment rental applications

Campinas (SP), January 2026 – LiuGong announces the launch in Brazil of
the LTC800T5 and LTC900T5 truck cranes, with maximum lifting capacities of
80 and 90 tons, designed for high-complexity lifting operations. Classified as
truck cranes, the machines were developed to serve applications such as the
assembly of precast concrete structures, industrial projects, shopping centers,
plants, heavy maintenance, oil and gas, as well as support operations in wind
      energy projects.
The combination of lifting capacity and ease of mobility makes these models
particularly attractive to rental companies and engineering firms. According to
Flavio Souza, LiuGong Product Manager, the launch responds to a recurring
demand in the Brazilian market. “We already support our customers from the
early stages of a project through to large-scale operations. We have now
completed our portfolio with a fundamental support machine—the truck crane.
With the LTC800T5 and LTC900T5 models, we are able to offer a
comprehensive solution while maintaining LiuGong’s philosophy of robustness
and ease of maintenance,” he states.

Standardized technical architecture with a focus on safety
Both cranes share the same technical platform, a feature that facilitates
maintenance and component interchangeability. Both models are equipped
      with a 275 kW Cummins engine, a 10-speed Fast transmission, a four-axle
chassis, 385/95R25 tires, and independent cabins for the truck and the crane,
      both fitted with air conditioning.
Equipped with a U-shaped telescopic main boom, the cranes feature five
sections and a maximum reach of 50 meters, setting a new benchmark for the
market. The auxiliary jib, with a length of up to 16 meters, expands versatility in
operations that require greater horizontal reach.

LiuGong chose to offer as standard features items that are often optional in the
market, including an emergency steering pump, which ensures equipment
control in the event of hydraulic failure, and an electric retarder, which enhances
safety on long descents and operations on inclined terrain. The proposal is to
deliver a more complete machine that meets the needs of the most demanding
customers. “Safety is not an option for LiuGong!” emphasizes the product
      manager.

      Operational control, stability, and precision
The LTC800T5 and LTC900T5 are equipped with a slewing system with dual
hydraulic motors, providing precise movements and smooth braking, reducing
load oscillation during operation. The system is complemented by a WIKA load
moment limiter, with a Portuguese-language interface, outrigger pressure
sensors, an anemometer, a camera at the boom tip, and a camera on the winch
drum to monitor wire rope spooling in real time.
Another key differentiator is the four-wheel steering system, including crab
mode, which reduces the turning radius to approximately 10 meters, facilitating
maneuverability in confined spaces, urban job sites, and industrial areas.
Equipped with counterweights—up to 17.8 tons on the LTC900T5 and 15 tons
on the LTC800T5, the truck cranes are also capable of transporting their own
counterweights over short distances, reducing the need for support trucks in
certain operations and contributing to optimized logistics costs.
      .
      Growth strategy and local support
According to Hebert Francisco, Vice President of LiuGong Brazil, the launch of
the truck cranes is aligned with the company’s growth strategy in Brazil. “By
launching the LTC800T5 and LTC900T5 models, we reinforce our commitment
to offering the Brazilian market an increasingly comprehensive portfolio, with
equipment designed for complex applications and supported by a structured
local technical support network. Our focus is to ensure productivity, safety, and
high availability for our customers,” explains Hebert Francisco.
Sales will be carried out through LiuGong’s distributor network in Brazil. In
parallel, the company is already conducting technical maintenance training
across the network, as well as commercial training programs, to ensure the
correct application and operation of the new equipment.

LiuGong expands the T Series with the launch of the electric line and strengthens its electrification strategy

The 838TE electric wheel loader is the highlight of the new phase of the T Series.

LiuGong announces the expansion of the T Series with the incorporation of its electric lineup, reinforcing the company’s global electrification strategy through equipment that combines structural robustness, high productivity, and a significant reduction in operating costs. The initiative aligns with the energy transition underway in the heavy equipment sector and responds to the growing demand for zero-emission solutions, particularly in urban, industrial, and mining operations.

As a result of a global development program launched in 2014, LiuGong has already sold more than 6.500 electric machines worldwide. By 2024, these units had accumulated 1.1 billion operating hours, with an estimated reduction of 330.000 tons of CO₂, an environmental impact equivalent to the planting of approximately 1,8 billion trees.

The dedicated electric engineering features a transmission developed in-house by LiuGong, delivering up to 20% higher efficiency, along with an intelligent energy recovery system capable of reducing overall energy consumption by up to 20%, particularly in duty cycles with frequent braking. The electric architecture eliminates the internal combustion engine, drastically reduces the number of wear-prone components, and extends maintenance intervals, resulting in a significantly lower total maintenance cost compared to diesel-powered machines.

The electric T Series adopts MTB (Module to Bracket) technology, which integrates the battery modules directly into the machine’s structure. This solution increases volumetric energy density by more than 40%, reduces wiring harness length by 93%, and enhances overall vibration resistance by more than 300%. The batteries use LFP (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry, recognized for its high thermal stability and safety, with an estimated service life of five years or 10.000 operating hours, and feature a Battery Management System (BMS) developed in-house by LiuGong, ensuring precise control, reliability, and performance.

The introduction of the electric T Series consolidates this trajectory and expands the brand’s portfolio in strategic segments. Among the highlights of this new phase of the T Series is the 838TE electric wheel loader, developed on the same structural platform as conventional T Series models, ensuring the robustness and reliability already recognized by the market. The machine is equipped with a 193 kWh battery, 120 kW rated power, a 4.800 kg operating load, and a 2,7 m³ bucket, ensuring high performance even in demanding applications.

The 838TE model is compatible with major global charging standards (GB/T) and can be fully charged in approximately one hour using a 160 kW charging station, ensuring productivity during intensive operating shifts. With the expansion of the T Series into the electric lineup, LiuGong reinforces its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency, delivering market solutions aligned with the evolving environmental and economic requirements of the heavy equipment industry.

LiuGong strengthens its presence in the Araripe Gypsum Production Hub

Partnership between manufacturer, distributor, and mining companies drives high availability and regional growth

Responsible for approximately 97% of Brazil’s gypsum production, the Araripe Gypsum Production Hub, located in the hinterlands of Pernambuco state, is one of the most challenging operating environments in Brazilian mining. Intense dust, high temperatures, long operating hours, and continuous operations demand reliable equipment and high availability of technical support. In this context, LiuGong has strengthened its presence as a strategic partner to local mining companies and industries, with a growing fleet of wheel loaders, excavators, and off-highway trucks operating across different stages of the gypsum value chain.

According to the Araripe Gypsum Local Production Arrangement (APL), the region brings together approximately 510 companies, including 55 mining operations, 185 calcination plants, and around 270 precast manufacturers, with an estimated annual output of 4,44 million tons and the generation of 3.500 direct jobs. It is within this highly competitive environment that LiuGong equipment has been consistently demonstrating strong performance.

Fleet in Operation and Field Performance

At Siqueira Mineração, one of the largest groups in the hub, LiuGong’s fleet is extensive and strategically deployed, including 848T, 856H, 865HE, and 870H wheel loaders, as well as six 922E excavators and three DW90 off-highway trucks. Founded in 2011, the group operates across multiple markets—from cement to calcined gypsum, agricultural gypsum, limestone, and aggregates—and employs more than 400 people.

According to Chico Siqueira, Chief Executive Officer, the decision to standardize the fleet is directly driven by performance and after-sales support. “Selling machines is easy. The real challenge is keeping them running, and that is what Damaq has been delivering. Today, LiuGong ranks among the best machines we have ever operated within the group, and our outlook is to migrate the entire fleet to the brand,” he states.

The Padrão Gypsum Group, which encompasses mining operations, gypsum manufacturing, and new investments in agribusiness, also operates four 922E excavators and one 835H wheel loader. With more than 150 employees, the group highlights close technical support as a decisive factor. “What the industry needs today is ongoing Support. Not just the sale, but a strong after-sales presence, answering questions, ensuring parts availability, and providing technical assistance. That is what we have with Damaq Equipamentos and LiuGong,” says José Mário, Maintenance Manager.

MAB – Mineração Alto Bonito, one of Brazil’s gypsum industry pioneers, founded in 1973 and now in its third generation of family ownership, operates 856H and 835H wheel loaders as well as a 922E excavator. For Geraldo Lesse, Chief Executive Officer, equipment robustness and long-term relationships are key differentiators. “We have been operating LiuGong machines since 2012. They are robust equipment that serve us well, supported by a solid, long-standing relationship between customer and supplier. That makes all the difference,” he emphasizes.

Expansion, Equipment Availability, and Local Support

Vertgesso, a company linked to a national group operating in the ceramics and mineral drilling sectors, currently operates one 835H wheel loader and two 922E excavators, with plans to acquire additional equipment for a new mining front in Araripe. According to Leonardo Ferreira, the company’s mining engineer, physical availability and local technical support were decisive factors in selecting the manufacturer. “Today, we have very strong equipment availability and utilization. What was missing in the region was technical maintenance service, which is now in place. This is essential for the Gypsum Hub,” he states.

The local presence of Damaq Equipamentos, LiuGong’s distributor in the region, is cited by companies across the hub as a true game changer. “Araripe demands strong machines, but it demands even more proximity. We have invested in infrastructure, regional technicians, parts inventory, and continuous relationships. Our role is to ensure that the machines are producing every day, because here, downtime is not an option,” emphasizes Danilo Freire, CEO of the distributor.

From the manufacturer’s perspective, LiuGong’s consolidation in the hub is the result of a clear strategy. “The Araripe Gypsum Hub is one of the most demanding operating environments in the country. Seeing our equipment running with high availability across different customers confirms that we are on the right path. More than selling machines, we are building long-term partnerships, with a focus on productivity, operating costs, and close customer support,” states Hebert Francisco, Vice President of LiuGong Latin America.

        A Partnership Driving Regional Development

In a hub that concentrates Brazil’s largest gypsum reserves and operates with continuous mining and material handling cycles, operational efficiency depends directly on fleet reliability. In this context, the standardization of robust machines, combined with high physical availability and a well-structured regional after-sales operation, has made it possible to reduce unplanned downtime, optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), and sustain consistent productivity gains.

According to Danilo Freire, CEO of Damaq Equipamentos, this dynamic requires more than high-performance equipment. “The Araripe Gypsum Hub demands strong machines, but it demands even stronger partnerships. This is not a market for one-off opportunities, but for day-to-day engagement. To operate here, it is not enough to sell equipment: it is necessary to understand the pace of mining operations, be present, anticipate demands, and ensure that the customer’s operation does not stop. Damaq has built its presence in the hub on this proximity, strong relationships, and a long-term vision. What has already been achieved is solid—and represents only the beginning of what we will continue to develop in the region,” he concludes.

As LiuGong’s distributor in Northeast Brazil, Damaq Equipamentos currently operates across six states in the region, with a structure focused on close customer relationships, technical availability, and continuous support. Despite its relatively recent trajectory, the company already ranks among the fastest-growing distributors of the brand in Brazil, contributing directly to the expansion of the LiuGong fleet in strategic segments such as mining, construction, agriculture, and infrastructure. Through investments in local teams, parts inventory, and specialized technical service, Damaq has established itself as a key link between the manufacturer and field operations—translating, in practice, the positioning that guides its activities: being the force that moves the Northeast.
