New structure includes a fully equipped workshop, boiler shop, and area for washing machines and components

Campinas, December 2024 – Serpema Machines, Parts, and Services, LiuGong’s distributor in Mato Grosso do Sul, will reopen its headquarters in Campo Grande on December 12. The new facility solidifies the company’s position as a reference for servicing the agricultural, mining, and paving sectors in the region. The event will be attended by LiuGong Latin America President Linjun Wang, along with customers and partners who will have the opportunity to explore the space and see the highlights of LiuGong’s 835H, 848H, 838T wheel loaders, 913E and 915E excavators, and 6612E compactor roller on display.

“The reopening of Serpema’s headquarters in December marks a strategic moment for the company to start 2025 with a stronger structure to meet the positive business outlook for next year. Our brand is growing in Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, thanks to Serpema’s support and alignment with our corporate values,” says Diego Zolezi, Senior Product and Marketing Manager at LiuGong.

The new Serpema facility, which was recently leased, has undergone extensive renovations to serve customers across the entire state. Located on a spacious 10,000 m² plot with a 2,000 m² building, the new headquarters features infrastructure capable of handling large equipment. The facility includes a fully equipped workshop, boiler shop, and an engine and transmission assembly room. A covered bay with a reinforced 30 cm concrete floor has been designed to support equipment up to 90 tons, such as excavators and wheel loaders.

The space also includes a testing area of more than 1,000 m² and a parts inventory valued at R$ 2.6 million. Serpema’s infrastructure is designed with environmental considerations in mind. In the machine and component washing area, water is sourced from rainwater harvesting, stored in 30,000-liter tanks, and features an oil decantation system for proper waste disposal. Additionally, there is a room equipped to obtain Cummins certification in 2025, reinforcing the company’s commitment to high-quality technical support.

According to Serpema Director Claudio Soler, the new space was designed to be a full-service machinery dealership, focusing not only on construction equipment but also on mining machinery, which will be the company’s main focus in 2025. “My father was a heavy machinery mechanic, and I used to follow him during school vacations. This passion has been in the blood for more than half a century. Today, with the dedicated work of our team and our partnership with LiuGong, we are improving our market share and consolidating our leadership in wheel loader and excavator sales.”

Currently, Serpema employs 33 professionals, and the new headquarters will provide opportunities to expand the team and offer even more specialized services. Competition in Mogi Guaçu will determine representatives for Latin America.

On September 18 and 19, 2024, LiuGong will host the Technical Skills Championship in the city of Mogi Guaçu (SP). This event, which has become a tradition on the company’s calendar, aims to select the team that will represent LGLA in the global competition taking place in November 2024 in China.

The Brazilian selection will feature specialists from LiuGong distributors and customers, who will face a series of practical and theoretical challenges. A total of 18 technicians from distributors and 7 technicians from customers will compete in Mogi Guaçu, showcasing their skills in handling and maintaining various LiuGong equipment.

Competition Dynamics

The championship will be divided into two main phases: a theoretical test and a practical test. In the practical portion, participants will face challenges that involve troubleshooting machinery, technical delivery, and equipment pre-inspection, simulating real-life work scenarios. Participants will have defined times for each task, with three hours allocated for the more complex challenges and one hour for the simpler ones. Practical tests will be conducted on equipment such as graders, trucks, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, bulldozers, skid steer loaders, mini hydraulic excavators, and backhoe loaders.

Diego Zolezi, LiuGong’s Senior Product and Marketing Manager, notes that this initiative is rooted in the value placed on knowledge, which is the main tool for customer service in the company’s culture. “By promoting this competition, LiuGong aims to recognize technical professionals and foster experience-sharing among them. It’s an opportunity to break the routine and interact with colleagues from other distributors and customers to learn together,” Zolezi states.

The top three technicians from the Mogi Guaçu selection will form the team representing LGLA in the Global Technical Skills Championship, which will be held in China in November 2024. The team will consist of one distributor technician, one customer technician, and one internal employee from LiuGong Latin America.

Additionally, the top five competitors from the Latin America competition will receive awards, highlighting recognition for the high technical level of the participants. In China, the competition will involve participants from various LiuGong subsidiaries around the world, with the top three teams receiving cash prizes and trophies. In the 2023 edition, two teams from LiuGong Latin America secured first and second places in the competition.

The distributor serves the manufacturer with the support of a branch in Pará and two in Maranhão

The manufacturer LiuGong expanded its equipment portfolio in Brazil with the launch of the 848T wheel loader. The launch coincided with the inauguration of the headquarters of the distributor Tracsul Equipamentos, held on June 27. The new structure, located in Ananindeua (PA), reinforces the work carried out by the units of Xinguara (PA), Imperatriz (MA) and São Luís (MA).

Tracsul Equipamentos began its operation in 2013, with the leasing of heavy machinery in São Félix do Xingu (PA). In 2015, the company started providing parts and maintenance services for heavy equipment in other states of Brazil. Investments continued to accompany the company’s growth, until, in 2019, partners Fabio Freitas and Davy Xavier decided to work with the sale of equipment, and LiuGong was one of the partner brands in this new stage.

“The new partnerships have been decisive for our success in the commercialization of machines. As we already offered field service to other rental companies and to customers who had their own equipment, we had all the resources to provide this service when we became LiuGong distributors”, recall the partners, Fábio Freitas and Davy Xavier.

They add that, since its founding, the company had an administrative office to manage the three units. To meet the growth plan for the coming years, the partners decided to structure a headquarters in Ananindeua (PA), in an area of 8 thousand m². The new space, as well as the branches, has a stock of parts, a specialized technical team, field service vehicles and its own workshops.

LiuGong’s product manager, Diego Zolezi, emphasizes the importance of the partnership with Tracsul. “We chose to launch the 848T together with the inauguration of the headquarters to honor the expansion of our partner and provide event attendees with the opportunity to check out the novelty up close,” explained Zolezi. He adds that the 838T, the first wheel loader in the T series, was presented at the M&T Expo, held in São Paulo, in April.

“In Brazil, the launch of the 848T expands the line of wheel loaders with greater operating weight, power and load capacity,” says Zolezi. Among the 848T’s differentials are the Cummins QSB7 engine and the ZF automatic transmission.

The 848T is equipped with an electro-hydraulic joystick for increased sensitivity during operation. The fully hydraulic disc brake system is oil-bathed, reducing wear and heating hazards during operation. For the operator, the T line has a ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) certified cab, as well as air conditioning with hot and cold temperature control.

During the inauguration of Tracsul’s headquarters, the participants of the event also had the opportunity to get to know the 856H-E electric loader. This model is equipped with a lithium battery pack manufactured by Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP – Lithium Iron Phosphate), which provides 350 kWh of energy storage and fast recharging in just 1.5 hours, depending on the conditions of the electrical installation, in addition to enabling up to 10 hours of work. The 856H-E wheel loader has an operating weight of 19,971 kg and a 3.5 m³ bucket, with a load capacity of up to 5,800 kg.

The event brought together customers, prospects and partners related to mining, in Passa Tempo (MG)

Passa Tempo (MG), June 2024 – LiuGong, a global reference in the manufacture of machinery for construction, mining and agriculture, begins na intense cycle of demonstrations of the 856H-E electric loader, which is the first electric equipment presented by the manufacturer in Brazil. The program of these events began on June 13, Thursday, in the city of Passa Tempo (MG) and was hosted by the steel industry, Ferlig, bringing together mining players.

For 30 days, the electric wheel loader worked in Ferlig’s yard, moving industrial dolomitic limestone. “After this period, demonstrating operational excellence, we compiled the main performance indicators of the 856H-E and compared them with similar diesel equipment, which also worked on this movement,” explained LiuGong Product Manager Diego Zolezi.

According to the Product Manager, the 856H-E electric wheel loader recorded a productivity of 493 tons/hour, with a battery life of 8 hours and 1.2 hours of charging. The equipment consumed 38.61 KW/h. In practice, this result translates into fuel savings of up to 3 ratio, in addition to reducing maintenance costs by up to 50%.

“The electrical equipment stands out for the lower operating cost combined with the torque of the motors, which respond quickly with maximum performance in loading and unloading movements. The electrification of fleets is a trend in several sectors, as an option for more sustainable operations with fewer emissions and noise”, analyzes Diego Zolezi.

The company positioned itself as a provider of solutions for mining and launched its first electric equipment in Brazil

LiuGong, a Chinese company with 65 years of tradition and a strong presence in the Brazilian heavy machinery market, resumed participation in the 12th M&T Expo, which took place between March 23 and 26 in the city of São Paulo. At booth A10, LiuGong received several buyers and strategic partners, who were able to check out the launches and the company’s growth strategy in Brazil.

With the aim of strengthening its commitment to customers, the company presented launches of Wheel loaders, being the 856H-E, an electrified model, a 4215D motorgrader with joystick, 838T Wheel loader, in addition to the 990FHD hydraulic excavator and the iLink telemetry system. The DW90A mining truck and the LD20D bulldozer, among other equipment such as aerial platforms, were on display at the event, which is considered the largest fair of machines and equipment for construction and mining in Latin America.

The event will take place in Itapecerica da Serra, bringing together the main manufacturers and customers in the sector

LiuGong, a Chinese multinational with 65 years of tradition and strong performance in the heavy machinery segment in Brazil, participates in the 11th edition of IPAF Elevação Brasil 2024, on May 8 and 9, in Itapecerica da Serra (SP).

The director of strategy and operations, Hebert Francisco, explains that LiuGong’s aerial work platform line combines safety and ease of operation. For the user, explains Hebert Francisco, the light and stable design allows working with versatility to meet different needs.

The company will exhibit two models of electric lifting platforms, LA20JE-Li and LSC0607DE. The first model, LA20JE-Li, is an articulated platform that has a maximum working height of 22 meters and a maximum horizontal reach of 12.6 meters, ideal for all types of terrain, in addition to having advanced safety mechanisms, preserving user safety. The other model highlighted at IPAF is the LSC0607DE, a scissor-type platform that has a maximum working height of 8 meters and with an electric traction motor, demonstrating the company’s commitment to technology and efficient performance.

By participating in IPAF, LiuGong further strengthens its presence in operations related to the lifting platform segment. Organized by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), the event provides participants with knowledge about safety in the use of platforms and work at height, in addition to addressing issues about current legislation and expanding relationships among sector customers.

The launch marked the company’s entry into the agricultural segment with a globally consolidated model.

The 29th edition of Agrishow, Brazil’s largest agricultural technology fair and one of the largest in the world, was the stage for the launch of LiuGong’s S935TA sugarcane harvester. The equipment chosen by the manufacturer is recognized in Asian and Australian markets for the robustness of its components and operational efficiency.

During the fair, visitors received support from the company’s team to learn about the differentials of the S935TA sugarcane harvester, starting with the powerful Cummins QSM11 engine of 375 HP.The launch combines excellent productivity ratio with low fuel consumption and ease of maintenance.

“We received excellent feedback about our sugarcane harvester, signaling that our strategy to bring it to Agrishow was spot-on. We have several mills interested in testing the equipment in different states of Brazil. These opportunities will help us collect field operation data under different cultivation conditions,” analyzes Hebert Francisco, director of strategy and operations.

The opportunities for field demonstrations are also exciting for the electrified wheel loader 856H-E. Recently launched by LiuGong at M&T Expo and Agrishow, the novelty is the brand’s first electric equipment in the Latin American market. “Electric equipment is a growing demand. This launch marks our first step in this segment,” adds Hebert Francisco.

Another LiuGong release was the T series of wheel loaders. The new generation represents a significant advance in technology and performance, surpassing the successful H Series. The T series brings equipment with greater operational weight, power, and optimized load capacities, with emphasis on the 838T, which replaces the acclaimed 835H.

Still during Agrishow, the manufacturer announced the new iLink telemetry system. Offered at no cost, the tool was designed to assist in optimizing maintenance schedules, services, and maximizing equipment uptime potential. With detailed performance reports in the palm of your hand, iLink offers a comprehensive real-time view of your operation, allowing customers to make decisions and define strategies to improve the efficiency and productivity of their operations, based on data.

LiuGong showcases yellow line, forklifts, and lifting platforms at Agrishow In addition to the launches, the manufacturer brought to booth H15A equipment from the yellow line such as wheel loaders, compactors, graders, crawler tractors, excavators, as well as lifting platforms and forklifts, generating sales and new orders.

Among the manufacturer’s portfolio products, the highlight was the wheel loaders. Starting with the 835H Fertilizer, which has a loading capacity of 3,000 kilograms and an operational weight of 10,800 to 11,600 kg. The equipment was developed by LiuGong for fertilizer handling and can operate with claws for wood handling, forks for cotton and hay bales, as well as support for lifting big bags and pallet forks. Thanks to the quick hydraulic coupling system, the equipment gains versatility without the operator leaving the cabin.

Another highlight from LiuGong’s portfolio was the 818H wheel loader. Being a compact solution, it offers excellent operating conditions in confined spaces. This model has a capacity of 1800 kilograms, operational weight of 5700 kg, and a 1 m³ bucket equipped with quick coupling.

For the next edition of Agrishow, the company already has plans to increase investments, considering the booth infrastructure. “In 2024, we participated in the fair for the second time and we were sure that this event has synergy with our work to strengthen the relationship with Latin America,” concluded Hebert Francisco, director of operations and strategy.

Consolidated and successful in the Asian markets, the S935TA Sugarcane Harvester becomes part of the brand’s portfolio also for the Brazilian market. With this launch, LiuGong ushers in a robust cycle of investments in solutions for the agricultural market. The S935TA is powered by the powerful 375 HP Cummins QSM11 engine and combines excellent productivity ratio, low fuel consumption and ease of maintenance. Its simple and highly efficient hydraulic transmission contributes to high levels of productivity per hectare. In addition, the unique hydraulic system, which combines an open and closed system, efficiently reduces oil consumption and hydraulic heat dissipation by automatically adjusting the fan rotation speed according to the working temperature.

Technology and innovation
856H-E Electric Wheel Loader
LiuGong, a pioneer among Chinese construction equipment manufacturers, recognized the potential of battery-electric equipment in the industry early on. The 856H-E is the first equipment in a family of electrified solutions that the company brings to the Brazilian market, with the commitment to offer green solutions with quality, intelligence and performance. Powered by an LFP-type CATL battery, it provides 350 kWh of energy storage and fast recharge in just 1 hour and 30 minutes, enabling up to 7 hours of operation. The 856H-E has an operating weight of 19,971 kg and a 3.5 m³ bucket with a load capacity of up to 5,800 kg. Its 160 kW traction motor propels the machine with speeds of up to 40 km/h forward and up to 13 km/h reverse, in addition to the variable displacement hydraulic system that offers a breakout force of 162 kN. In addition, it has a fully hydraulic service brake system and an independent parking brake, offering full control and safety in all operating conditions.

New T Series Wheel Loaders
With improved engineering and state-of-the-art technologies, the T-Series loaders are designed to exceed expectations. This new generation represents a significant advance in technology and performance, supplanting the successful H Series. The T Series brings equipment with greater operating weight, power and optimized load capacities, with emphasis on the 838T that replaces the proven 835H. Equipped with a Cummins engine, the 838T brings innovation with the ZF load-sensitive automatic transmission of 4 forward and 3 reverse gears, featuring variable displacement piston pump hydraulics for better work efficiency. The machine also comes equipped with a Limited Slip axle, 20.5×25 tires for better traction, and fully hydraulic plated disc brakes for greater control during operation. The bucket has been increased to 2.3 m³ and can handle loads of up to 3,800 kg.

iLink Telemetry System
Another launching in Agrishow is LiuGong’s fleet management platform. Offered at no cost, it is designed to help optimize aintenance schedules, service schedules, and maximize equipment uptime potential.
