Bringing together strategic customers from across the country, the
manufacturer presents real-world applications of electric machines and
reinforces technological progress in the heavy equipment sector.
Jundiaí, March 17, 2026 – LiuGong Latin America brought together strategic
customers from different regions of Brazil during the Key Account Experience,
held on March 11 at the Sarandi Tratores distributor facility in Jundiaí (SP). The
meeting was attended by the company’s global leadership, including Mr.
Guobing Luo, Vice Chairman; Mr. Dongchun Li, Vice President; Mr. Xiang Ling,
Senior Director; Mr. Kailliang Li, Deputy Chief Engineer; and Mr. Muchen Cui,
Senior Administrative Specialist. The delegation was joined by the leadership
of the Brazil operation, represented by Mr. Linjun Wang, President of LiuGong
Latin America, and Hebert Francisco, Vice President of LiuGong Latin America,
highlighting the strategic importance of the Brazilian market for the
manufacturer’s global growth.
The main objective of the initiative was to demonstrate that electrification is
already part of heavy equipment operations in Brazil, delivering tangible results
in productivity, energy efficiency, and cost reduction. The program included
dynamic demonstrations and technical presentations focused on large-scale
projects in mining, infrastructure, rental, industry, and agribusiness.
Electrification applied in real-world operations
During the event, LiuGong presented its portfolio of electrified solutions,
highlighting specific applications for different segments. For mining operations
and aggregate handling in severe environments, the 870HE and 856HE electric
wheel loaders were showcased.
The 870HE, equipped with an electric motor of up to 160 kW and a 4,7 m3
bucket, delivers an average productivity of more than 560 tons per hour,
combined with an estimated operating cost of around R$ 0,02 per ton. The
856HE, in turn, demonstrates an average production close to 350 tons per hour,
reinforcing the viability of electrification in large-scale operations.
For applications in rental, construction, industry, and agribusiness, the
manufacturer highlighted the 838TE electric wheel loader, with average
productivity exceeding 128 m3 per hour and high energy efficiency.
Complementing the portfolio, the 820TE represents a new concept in compact
electrified machines, featuring simplified ground-level maintenance, a high
degree of protection against dust and moisture, and consistent performance
across different operating environments.
The brand’s electrification strategy also includes the 9027FE electric mini
excavator, developed to deliver productivity in urban areas and confined spaces,
expanding the presence of electric technology across multiple equipment
categories.
According to Hebert Francisco, Vice President of the company, the purpose of
the meeting was to present concrete evidence of this technological
transformation. “Electrification is no longer a future trend — it has become a
real solution in Brazilian operations. By bringing together strategic customers,
we presented field data proving significant gains in productivity, cost reduction,
and operational reliability, reinforcing that this evolution is already underway in
the market,” the executive states.
Success case validates technological maturity
As a practical demonstration of the robustness of electrified solutions, the event
featured the presentation of a 856HE electric wheel loader operating with Híbria
Rental, with more than 4.600 working hours in calcitic limestone loading, a
material considered highly aggressive due to the high presence of particulates.
Operational data indicate productivity exceeding 200 tons per hour and a cost
reduction of up to 72% per ton compared to conventional diesel-powered
equipment, demonstrating the potential of electrification even under severe
operating conditions.
Portfolio evolution expands complete solutions
In addition to the progress represented by electric machines, LiuGong
presented the launch of the TD14N bulldozer, developed with a focus on the
specific needs of the Brazilian market. Equipped with a 159 hp engine,
hydrostatic transmission, and a six-way blade (VPAT), the model was designed
to deliver greater precision, versatility, and efficiency in earthmoving and
infrastructure applications.
The manufacturer also highlighted the evolution of its excavator lineup with the
arrival of the F Series, which brings improvements in hydraulic performance,
operator comfort, ease of maintenance, and safety. Among the highlights is the
new 933F hydraulic excavator, equipped with a 226 hp Cummins engine, high-
flow hydraulic system, and low noise level (69 dB), developed for demanding
applications such as light mining and large infrastructure projects.
By reinforcing LiuGong’s positioning as a provider of complete solutions, the
Key Account Experience also featured equipment dedicated to paving
applications, including the 506E asphalt paver, the 6210E tandem double drum
roller, and the 6526E pneumatic tire roller. The demonstrations highlighted the
brand’s ability to operate across different stages of infrastructure projects.
According to Hebert Francisco, staying close to strategic customers is essential
for the technological evolution of the portfolio. According to the executive, direct
contact with large-scale operations makes it possible to better understand
market challenges and accelerate the introduction of solutions capable of
impacting productivity and project competitiveness.
Held in partnership with Sarandi Tratores, the event is part of LiuGong’s
strategy to strengthen its presence in Brazil through technological innovation
and the reinforcement of its dealer network. The initiative also highlights the
advancement of fleet electrification and the continuous development of
solutions aligned with the sector’s growing demands for efficiency and
sustainability.
