Manufacturer expands its mining portfolio with the DW105A off-highway truck and the 890T wheel loader
Campinas, August 2026 – LiuGong is participating in Exposibram 2026, showcasing two new products designed for mining operations: the DW105A off-highway truck and the 890T wheel loader, part of the manufacturer’s T Series. The equipment will be on display at booths AE22 and AE23, where the company will highlight solutions designed to increase productivity, reduce total operating costs and improve the reliability of mining operations. The company’s participation in the event also reinforces LiuGong’s continued investment in the development of new technologies and solutions tailored to the demands of the mining industry.
One of the company’s highlights is the DW105A, an off-highway truck developed for high-intensity applications. With a 70-ton payload capacity and a dump body with a capacity of up to 43 m³, the equipment was designed to meet the demands of severe operating conditions, combining high productivity, structural robustness and versatility for different types of mining operations.
Equipped with a 512 hp (382 kW) diesel engine, the truck delivers maximum torque of 2,500 N·m, providing high performance even on challenging terrain. Its high-strength integrated structure, combined with easy-to-operate steering and high stability, contributes to increased safety, operator comfort and operational efficiency.
Developed to offer an excellent cost-benefit ratio for the Brazilian market, the DW105A uses high-quality and reliable components, helping reduce maintenance costs, increase machine availability and improve operational productivity. The model also features an engine braking system, a three-stage hydraulic retarder and dual-circuit service brakes, enhancing safety when operating on slopes and under severe working conditions.
Another highlight is the 890T, a T Series wheel loader developed to meet the most demanding mining applications. With an operating weight of 33.7 tons, a 9.5-ton rated load capacity and a Cummins X12 engine, the machine incorporates technologies designed to increase productivity and reduce operating costs.
The 890T bucket has been redesigned to increase the fill factor and material handling capacity, delivering productivity gains. According to the manufacturer, the T Series can reduce total operating costs by up to 20% compared with previous generations.
In addition to the new products, LiuGong will highlight its after-sales support structure, designed to increase equipment availability and support operational continuity. Among its solutions is iLink, a telematics system that provides real-time data on machine performance, fuel consumption and utilization indicators. The tool supports fleet management, enables maintenance to be anticipated and helps identify operational deviations, contributing to cost reduction and increased productivity.
“Mining is undergoing a transformation driven by the pursuit of greater efficiency, productivity and digitalization. LiuGong is following this movement by expanding its portfolio with equipment that combines robustness, embedded technology, high availability and lower total operating costs, helping our customers achieve better results in the field,” says Guilherme Godoy, Sales and Marketing Director of LiuGong Latin America.
Recognized as one of the leading mining events in Latin America, the Brazilian Mining Expo & Congress (EXPOSIBRAM) brings together the sector’s leading companies, institutions and experts each year. Organized by the Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM), the 2026 edition will take place from August 24 to 27 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, serving as an important platform for the presentation of new technologies, business development and discussions on key trends in the mining industry.
